What You will Do:
As an Registered Nurse at Corangamarah, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalised, resident-centered care that promotes the physical and emotional wellbeing of our elderly residents.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to our residents whilst working within and supervising a multidisciplinary team.
Administering medications and treatments in accordance with care plans.
Collaborating with the clinical team to assess and monitor residents' health conditions.
Assisting with daily activities and personal care, ensuring dignity and respect for all residents.
Offering emotional support to residents and their families, fostering a caring, trusting relationship.
Contributing to the development and review of care plans and documentation.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing exceptional care in a welcoming, respectful environment.
Ideally, you will have:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Experience in aged care or a passion for working with elderly individuals.
Experience in dementia, challenging behaviours and age related disease processes.
A strong commitment to resident-centered care .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—building rapport with residents, families, and colleagues alike.
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
