About Us

At KR Hoysted Constructions & Landscapes, we specialise in delivering high-quality landscaping and civil construction projects across the NE Region. From detailed residential landscapes to large-scale commercial and infrastructure works, our reputation is built on quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Machine Operator to join our expanding team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on position operating a range of machinery across our construction and landscape sites, alongside an experienced crew on projects that demand precision, reliability, and a strong safety mindset. Day-to-day duties may include:

Operating earthmoving and construction machinery (excavators, skid steer, roller, etc.)
Excavation Site Prep
Civil works – trenching, pipe laying, and detailed excavation
Ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining safety standards on site

Equipment includes: 14T & 6T & 1.7T excavators, Skid Steer, Loader, Roller, Dump Trucks, HR Tippers & Grader. All equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.

What You'll Need

Minimum 6 years' experience operating machinery
Construction White Card
HC or HR licence REQUIRED
Strong understanding of site safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
A reliable, hands-on attitude and good communication skills
