SENIOR BARBER / MEN'S HAIRDRESSER

The Barberhood voted AUSTRALIA'S BEST BARBERSHOP by GQ Magazine has an opportunity for an experienced hairdresser or barber to join our excellent team.

SKILLS: You must be proficient in all aspects of male hairdressing including lather face and head shaves, style cuts (long and short), men's colour and beard shaping. Preferred applicants to have 2-5 years of cutting experience.

Hours: Full Time - NO WEEKENDS.
Pay: Excellent pay and benefits: 73k-75k

SALON COORDINATOR / RECEPTIONIST

SKILLS: In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent client services and ensuring a smooth and seamless operation of the client reception area whilst also maintaining the professional image of The Barberhood. Sound knowledge of reception and front-desk operations is a must. Experience working in a salon or as a hairdresser, barber or beauty therapist is a bonus!

HAIR SALON ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prepared client's hair for several hairdressers/barber on the floor; including following process of seating and caping-up the client.

You will be required to perform salon assistant duties to assist hairdressers/barbers, such as hair washing, applying scalp revitiliser treatments to customers as well as neckshaves, colour mixing and application, facials, men’s eyebrow waxing and traditional hot towel service.

You will expected to sweep, sanitize and disinfect the salon premises on a daily basis. Maintain and manage inventory of products and items, restock shelving and consumables. Maintain clients' contact information in the salon database with updated information, scheduled appointments and ensured that any cancellations or readjustments are taken care of. Operate the cash register, receive payments and answer telephone calls, responding to inquiries put forth by callers. Ensure total customer satisfaction through salon services.

Applicants to have a minimum of 2 years of salon experience.

Hours: Full Time - Pay: Excellent pay and benefits

Location: Sydney CBD
