As an experienced Commissioning Engineer with strong audio-visual, audio systems and networking expertise, you'll take on a senior role within our Engineering team and be that go-to person for your fellow colleagues and clients. You will ensure that client expectations and scope requirements are met with a high level of quality control across our project developments. You'll be hands on and lead commissioning activities while working directly with clients on-site to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commissioning of AV/UC spaces, audio systems, and integrated technology solutions onsite and in workshop environments.
- Configure, test and troubleshoot network-connected AV devices and systems.
- Commission and optimise DSP, audio conferencing, and sound reinforcement systems.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Perform detailed QA checks, user acceptance testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Deep knowledge of AV systems, professional audio technologies and UC platforms.
- Solid understanding of serial comms, AV network integration, and control protocols.
- Experience commissioning DSP platforms, audio conferencing systems, and sound reinforcement solutions.
- Relevant qualifications in Electronics, Engineering or Computer Science.
- Driver’s License and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Ability to lead on-site engagements and communicate effectively with clients.
- CCNA certification preferred.
- Programming skills in C-like languages, Python, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, or React are desirable.
