As a part of the Network Delivery Group you will undertake a variety of works associated with the design and construction of Evoenergy’s Electrical Distribution Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.
Key responsibilities:

Develop and prepare detailed project briefs, estimates and associated documentation for assigned projects, ensuring that the customer’s requirements and Evoenergy’s business objectives are met.

Perform calculations and assessments for various design criteria for overhead line assets, including structures/poles, switchgear, transformers, etc. and ground assets, including distribution substations/kiosks, switching stations and related infrastructure.

Provide technical support and advice to delivery teams as required.

Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate:
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) however an Advanced Diploma, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering is acceptable as a minimum.

Demonstrated experience, strong knowledge and understanding in regard to customer and network-initiated electricity distribution works including overhead lines and ground assets and the related infrastructures.

Established understanding and proven experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including external contractors, consultants and in-house delivery teams.

Demonstrated experience, strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the electricity distribution industry.
