Full Job Description

We are looking for a proactive full-time HR Advisor to join our Company: Installed Pty Limited trading as Pacific Hi-Fi.

This is a hands-on advisory role with strong variety. You will provide first-level HR support across employee relations, performance, employment conditions, contracts, people processes and frontline leader and employee coaching. You will also support key HR projects, including our HRIS implementation, process improvement, documentation uplift and practical leader resources.

This role would suit someone who is ready to step into a broader advisory role, enjoys working close to the business and is confident balancing day-to-day HR support with project delivery.

What You’ll Do

Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff and overseas contractors (VA’s).
Onboarding and Offboarding of staff
Provide first-level advice to managers and employees on routine HR, ER, conduct, probation and performance matters.
Coach managers and team members on expectations, documentation, early intervention and performance conversations.
Support routine performance or conduct meetings where HR guidance is required.
Prepare and review employment contracts, variation letters, salary letters and other employee documentation.
Provide advice on policies, employment conditions, leave, classifications, modern awards and internal people process.
Work with recruitment, payroll and operations to resolve people matters accurately and efficiently.
Maintain clear, factual and confidential employee records, case notes and HR documentation.
Escalate complex, sensitive or high-risk matters early to the CEO
Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes, improve templates and create more consistent ways of working.
Contribute to key HR projects and initiatives.
Be a team player, developing good relationships with co-workers, and supporting and advocating for the company and fellow employees
Organize Team events and celebrations

You will bring:

Bachelor’s degree qualifications in human resources or business with a related major
Demonstrated experience in a HR role from Past
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
The ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and identify when matters require escalation
A practical, collaborative and solutions-focused approach

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
