Full Job Description

The Temporary Cook & Barista supports the daily operation of the Aunties Café food van by preparing quality café food, making consistent coffee, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering friendly service to guests. The role requires someone who can work independently in a compact food‑van environment while also collaborating effectively with the wider holiday park team.

Preparing breakfast and lunch menu items
Making consistent, high‑quality coffee
Operating confidently within a compact food‑van workspace
Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and service area
Providing warm, friendly customer service
Managing stock ordering for the café and maintaining inventory levels
Completing daily café checklists and basic admin tasks
Restocking supplies and supporting daily café operations
Upholding strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards
Working independently and as part of a small team
Completing other tasks as directed by management

Mandatory Requirements

Must have weekend availability
Must be able to work weekends
Must have confident barista skills
Must hold a NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Issued by an approved RTO, valid for 5 years)
Must be able to work individually and as part of a team
Must be able to manage stock ordering for the café
