Full Job Description

St Columba's College is a contemporary Catholic secondary school committed to fostering excellence in learning, wellbeing and personal growth. An opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Guitar Tutor to join our Performing Arts team in a casual capacity as soon as possible.

Applicants must be available on Thursdays and Fridays.

About the role

The successful applicant will:

Direct Rock Band
Direct Guitar Ensemble
Instruct individual guitar lessons

About you

You will:

Demonstrate a commitment to supporting girls' education through high-quality instrumental music teaching.
Have experience preparing students for AMEB and VCE Music performance examinations.
Possess knowledge of a broad range of techniques, styles and musical genres.
Have experience directing ensembles or be willing to develop this capability.
Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check (VIT registration is preferred but not essential).

Current VMTA rates will apply.
