Physiotherapist (~ 12 Hours/Week)

Private Practice | MSK & Osteoporosis Care

We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our growing allied health clinic on a 12 hours/week basis.

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a developing clinic focused on bone health, osteoporosis, healthy ageing, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Built on current research and evidence-based practice, our clinic is dedicated to helping people understand their bone health and take practical steps to improve their strength, mobility, confidence, and long-term quality of life.

About the Role = The role combines general private practice musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a particular focus on osteoporosis and older adult care.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assessing and treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Conducting comprehensive osteoporosis and bone health consultations.
Interpreting DXA scan reports and explaining findings to patients.
Developing personalised exercise and rehabilitation programs.
Supervising individual and small-group gym-based exercise sessions.
Providing evidence-based advice on nutrition, calcium, vitamin D, protein intake, and lifestyle factors that influence bone health.
Educating and empowering patients to confidently manage their condition.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

Is a registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
Enjoys working with older adults and helping people remain active and independent.
Has an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Values patient education and evidence-based practice.
Is confident prescribing gym-based exercise or willing to develop these skills.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is motivated to contribute to the growth of a new and innovative service.
(note that on-site training will be included)

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience working with osteoporosis or metabolic bone disease.
Experience in private practice.
Strength and conditioning or exercise physiology experience.
Pilates, gym rehabilitation, or group exercise experience.
Interest in healthy ageing, falls prevention, or persistent pain management.
