We have opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join our highly skilled compassionate care teams working at one of our Residential Aged Care Homes in Broken Hill. We are currently looking for full-time, part-time, casual roles or 12-month contract nurses.

About the role
Working as a Registered Nurse with SCC, you'll demonstrate expertise in contemporary clinical practice, sharing your knowledge of the highest standards in person centred care through delivery of advanced clinical and holistic care to our residents.
As an integral member of our care team, you will work under the leadership of an experienced Clinical Manager whilst providing support and supervision to your team members. You will champion a strong teamwork approach to resident’s care and liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members ensuring excellence in personalised care. Most importantly, compassion and empathy accompany your clinical talent, alongside building relationships with our residents based on dignity and respect.
What will you bring to the role?
- You will be a Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
- Experience in Aged Care and a knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care
- Strong clinical focus in assessing, planning and implementing client care
- Demonstrated skills in care planning and evaluation documentation
- Demonstrated competence in medication management and clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- You enjoy working in a team environment
- You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
- You must be available to work all shifts
