What We Are Looking For
We are seeking motivated and reliable tutors who demonstrate:
- Completion of Year 12 with strong academic results (ATAR 90+ preferred)
- Current enrolment in an undergraduate degree
- Sound understanding of the Australian Curriculum (Mathematics and/or English, K–12)
- Confidence in teaching both primary (K–6) and secondary (Years 7–12) students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational reliability and punctuality
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Desirable: Experience in GATE, ATAR, or exam preparation tutoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective small group lessons (up to six students per class)
- Prepare and review weekly lesson plans and homework tasks
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress
- Provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians as required
- Collaborate with other tutors and participate in team meetings
Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
