Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative

A&I Coatings is one of Australia's leading manufacturers of specialised industrial coatings, flooring systems and advanced coating technologies. We are seeking a motivated and organised Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative to join our growing team in Moss Vale.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, supporting a technical sales team and ensuring customers receive outstanding service.
About the Role
You'll manage a portfolio of established customers, providing day-to-day sales support while working closely with our sales, technical and production teams. The position combines customer service, account management, product stewardship and hands-on sales support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a group of established customers across Australia.
- Process customer enquiries, quotations and orders.
- Follow up opportunities and maintain regular contact with customers.
- Prepare product samples and sample packs for customers, distributors and sales representatives.
- Coordinate product literature, technical data sheets and marketing materials.
- Provide product stewardship support, including maintaining and distributing product documentation.
- Assist customers with basic product selection and technical enquiries.
- Liaise with production, warehousing and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
- Support the external sales team with customer information, quotations and project follow-up.
- Maintain CRM records and customer databases.
- Assist with trade shows, product launches and customer events.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales support processes.
- OEM lead generation
About You
The successful applicant will be:
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working with technical products and learning new technologies.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Detail-oriented and committed to providing high levels of customer service.
Desirable Experience
- Inside sales, customer service, sales administration or account support experience.
- Experience in Industrial & Protective coatings, manufacturing, construction products, chemicals or industrial products (advantageous but not essential).
- Exposure to technical documentation, product stewardship or compliance processes.
- Experience preparing quotations and processing orders.
