Full Job Description

Chef – Full-Time | Busy Bayside Beach Café

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team at a busy and well-established café located in Melbourne’s Bayside beach area.

About the Role

This is a full-time Chef position, offering approximately 38–40 hours per week, including weekend and public holiday work.

Requirements

Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience working as a Chef in a busy café or hospitality environment
Strong cooking skills and ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
Experience with breakfast, brunch and café-style food
Ability to prepare and cook dishes consistently to a high standard
Ability to contribute new menu ideas, seasonal specials and menu development
Experience with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
Ability to work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team
Reliable, professional and able to perform well under pressure
Good communication and time-management skills
