About the Facility

Roshana Bolton Point Aged Care is a 56 beds welcoming residential aged care home offering high-quality care in a safe, supportive and community-focused environment. The home provides comfortable accommodation, modern communal spaces, landscaped outdoor areas and person-centred care designed to support residents’ wellbeing, dignity and independence.

We are looking for Cook to join our aged care team at Roshana Bolton Point Aged Care, in a Full Time capacity.

About the Role

As a Cook / Chef, you will be a valued part of our residents’ daily lives—creating meals they look forward to and moments that bring comfort, connection, and enjoyment. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys being active, organised, and making a meaningful impact.

What You Will Be Doing

Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
Deliver meals with care and presentation that enhances the dining experience
Cater for special diets, allergies, and texture-modified meals
Support residents’ enjoyment of food by engaging positively during meal service
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, balance, and resident satisfaction
Manage kitchen operations including stock control, storage, and organisation
Work collaboratively with the care team to support residents’ wellbeing

What You Will Bring

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Experience as a cook or chef, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or hospitality
Knowledge of nutrition, special diets, and food safety standards
A genuine passion for preparing meals that make a difference in people’s lives
Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A positive, reliable attitude and ability to work well within a team
A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
