We are a successful manufacturing company based in Bendigo, experiencing exciting growth both nationally and internationally. We are looking for a Administration Assistant to join our team on a casual basis and provide valuable support across our administration and production operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys being part of a team, and is looking to build a career in administration. For the right person, there may be an opportunity for this position to develop into a full-time role in the future.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn. You don’t need to have extensive experience — we’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and a genuine interest in developing their skills.
You will ideally have:
- An interest in administration and basic accounting
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A friendly and welcoming manner, as you will sometimes be the first point of contact for our business
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
What You’ll Be Doing
Working alongside our Business Administration Manager and Production Manager, your role will include a variety of tasks such as:
- Providing general administration support to the Business Administration and Production teams
- Answering emails and telephone enquiries
- Assisting with basic data entry into Xero
- Scanning and organising receipts and documentation
- Completing general data entry
- Assisting the Production team with domestic freight bookings
- Supporting the onboarding process for new employees
- Helping with a range of other ad hoc administration tasks as required
