Benalla Health is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Administration Assistant to provide essential administrative support across our Continuum of Care services, including Acute Services, Urgent Care Centre, Midwifery, Peri-Operative Services and Residential Aged Care. This role plays a vital part in supporting clinicians, patients and services through efficient administration, exceptional customer service and accurate information management.
The Opportunity
As a Clinical Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of clinical administration functions across multiple healthcare services. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams while managing patient information, appointments, correspondence and administrative processes.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing professional reception and customer service support

Managing appointments, patient bookings and clinician schedules

Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

Monitoring and responding to electronic communications and inboxes

Supporting admission, transfer and discharge processes

Preparing theatre documentation and maintaining theatre lists

Generating reports, correspondence and statistics

Assisting with quality improvement and administrative projects

Supporting efficient clinical operations through strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
