Are you a paediatric OT who is a natural leader? Do people naturally turn to you for guidance? Maybe you've led in another setting, or perhaps now is your time to step into your next career chapter.

Either way, a rewarding opportunity is waiting at Kids First Children's Services. You'll lead and collaborate daily with an experienced multidisciplinary team of psychologists, speech pathologists and specialist early intervention teachers. And yes - we're all under one roof!

Who we're looking for

You'll have at least 5 years of paediatric OT experience, with a genuine passion for making a contribution to the lives of your clients, colleagues and community.

You'll be someone who:

Brings out the best in the people around them
Practises in a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and relationship-centred way
Sees the big picture, and brings that perspective to your role as a Kids First team member
Is committed to the professional learning and personal growth that makes you a respected role model

What your week will look like

You'll:

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children aged 2-15
Work closely with child psychologists, speech pathologists, specialist early intervention teachers and other OTs to deliver the best outcomes for every child
Benefit from a carefully planned caseload that supports your clinical and leadership responsibilities
Mentor our OTs so they become confident, accountable clinicians who achieve their personal and professional goals
Liaise with our Practice Manager to ensure clients and clinicians are well supported
Lead OT Hub meetings, where you and the rest of the OT team grow together
Enjoy fortnightly multidisciplinary case conferences, where you'll learn from your colleagues and they'll learn from you

As a full-time member of the Kids First team, you'll also enjoy 'Early Finish Friday', where everyone starts their weekend at 12 noon.

Essential requirements

Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Current Working with Children Check
Eligibility to hold a Medicare provider number
The right to work in Australia
5+ years' post-graduate paediatric OT experience
The ability to work from our Brookvale clinic
Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

Please note: This role is open to clinicians who are currently living and working in Australia only. We are not able to consider offshore applications.
