Casual role across two Ballarat Op Shops
Bring creative flair to help us achieve our vision

Your new role

Join our team and coordinate our volunteers and daily operations of our Op Shops in Ballarat. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a friendly community, it’s lively and varied!

We have an on-call casual role available, rostered anywhere from 3 to 7.6 hours, across 9:09am to 5:15pm, 7 days per week, and public holidays. This role is to work across our two Op Shop locations in Ballarat as required:

La Trobe Street, Delacombe
Howitt Street, Wendouree.

Our Op Shops team are responsible for bringing their creative flair to create visually appealing and contemporary Op Shops. We encourage and build a culture of productivity, imagination, innovation, change and development. Our Op Shops allow you to tap into your natural way of being creative, enthusiastic, and having fun.

Our aim is to delight people in a meaningful and memorable way, while offering positive customer experiences, high level visual merchandising, critical stock and space management, achieving sales targets, and celebrating Uniting’s culture.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for fashion and charity retail and have a flair for visual merchandising.

You will ideally have experience in cash handling, register operations and closing procedures and be confident in supervising a team as well as working on your own. You will also be available to work weekends and public holidays, sometimes at short notice.
