Full Job Description

Role purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial & accounting operations of Reverence Community Care Group. The role focuses on payroll support, invoicing, financial reporting, expenditure analysis, and maintaining accurate financial records to support business decision-making. Candidate is able to work from home and attend meetings with the management in-person whenever required.

Key responsibilities

Assist with payroll processing in line with leave cycles, entitlements, and company policies.
Prepare weekly financial analysis reports for management.
Monitor and report on company expenditures and identify areas for operational improvement.
Create and maintain financial dashboards, graphs, and reporting sheets to present business data clearly.
Support month-end reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
Work collaboratively with the operations and management teams to improve financial processes.

Essential criteria

Qualification in Accounting or Finance
Experience in payroll and financial reporting.
Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial analysis.
Ability to design clear reports, graphs, and dashboards.
High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Candidate is required to sit with the management weekly or by weekly to present figures.
Able to travel to clinic locations (Bacchus Marsh or Williams Landing) to meet the management occasionally.

Desirable criteria

Experience in the NDIS, healthcare, or community services sector.
Knowledge of billing processes.
Familiarity with payroll systems and accounting software.
Employment type
Part time casual contract 2-3 days

Pay: $45.00 – $75.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bacchus Marsh VIC 3340
