Short-Term Accommodation Property Assistant – Atherton
We are seeking a reliable, organised, and customer-focused individual to assist with the management of a short-term holiday accommodation business based in Atherton.
This is a flexible casual position offering approximately 10–20 hours per week, with the opportunity to work partially from home.
About the Role
The successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring our properties are maintained to a high standard and that guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct property inspections prior to guest check-in to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
· Perform cleaning duties as required.
· Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries via phone and email.
· Process guest payments using an EFTPOS terminal.
· Coordinate weekly linen orders and distribute linen to properties.
· Manage and maintain staff rosters.
· Program and reset keys in electronic key dispensers.
· Assist with the day-to-day operations of the accommodation business.
Essential Requirements
· Current resident of Atherton Tablelands or willingness to relocate for at least 6 months
· Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning and property-related tasks.
· Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
· Strong computer skills and confidence using basic software applications.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and effective time management skills.
· Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
· Reliable vehicle
