Full Job Description

Support Worker – Home Care

Location: Boonah, QLD
Position: Casual (approx 40 hours per fortnight)
Remuneration: $41.57 – $46.20 per hour (incl. 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Benefits

About the Role:

As a Home Care Support Worker, you’ll provide personalised, in-home support to aged care clients, helping them maintain independence and enjoy a high quality of life. Your care and support will foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes overall well-being.

You will:

Provide person-centred care tailored to each client’s goals and preferences
Assist with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming)
Support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and shopping
Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
Encourage independence, confidence, and social connection
Work closely with Care Partners and families to deliver consistent care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who genuinely care about supporting older people.

You must have:

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
Experience working in home care or aged care
A caring, respectful, and client-focused approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and a National Police Check
