About the Role
As a Controls Systems Technician, you will be the trusted technical expert for a portfolio of customer sites, delivering commissioning, service and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS). You'll work closely with customers to optimize building performance, improve energy efficiency and maximize the value of their building assets.

Key Responsibilities

Commission, service, maintain and troubleshoot BMS and associated building systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.

Installation supervision, low level engineering & testing systems to meet standards

Analyze system and plant performance using analytics tools, identify faults and implement solutions that improve energy efficiency and building performance.

With a strong understanding of systems, provide solutions to very complex systems problems through troubleshooting the system or advising others to resolve
- Build strong customer relationships through regular engagement, performance reviews and proactive recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.

Provide technical support to engineering, sales and project teams, while assisting with the successful delivery of projects and customer outcomes.

Mentor junior technicians and maintain full compliance with Johnson Controls' safety and operational standards.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a similar role working with Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC controls, Energy Efficiency Solutions or mechanical services commissioning would be highly regarded.

Relevant trade/ tertiary qualification in: Electrical or Refrigeration preferred.

Current open electrical license or restricted electrical licence preferred.

Current driver’s license
- Ability to work under pressure on construction projects with tight deadlines.

Confident communicator with strong customer relationship management skills.
