The Role
Ventia are currently looking to engage a number of Floorhand’s to support our team working on the Rig & Wells contract. Reporting to the Rig Manager, you will be providing support for efficient operations on-site while assisting the rig crew with various manual tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, possess competence in securing basic loads, maintain physical fitness to manage a physically demanding workload, and exhibit a strong capacity to follow instructions accurately on-site. This FIFO opportunity offers you a 2:2 roster, working 12hour days giving you the ability to have true work life balance.
This is a casual on-going position with flights provided from Perth Airport and will see you based in Barrow Island, WA.
The pay rate for this position is $588.24 per day (including casual loading) and is a flat rate.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the site and workshops to ensure a safe and organised

Preparation of the rig site including rigging up and down

Pack and prepare vehicles and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for daily operations

Provide general manual labour support, and assist with any other tasks as directed by the rig crew
Requirements:

Manual Driver’s Licence – HR is preferred

Strong knowledge within a trade or mechanical background is advantageous

Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions, including extreme heat and humidity

Must be able to handle the physical demands of the role in a harsh environment

Open and clear communication within a team environment
