Your new role
As the Assistant Parts Manager, you’ll provide leadership support to the Parts Manager in the daily operations of the Parts team, stepping up as the acting leader during absences. This will give you the unique opportunity to utilise your own knowledge and expertise to achieve individual targets, whilst supporting the team towards success in both performance and culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Driving parts sales, margin and inventory performance
- Supporting the Manager to achieve KPIs, targets, and budgets
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the team
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Extensive knowledge of automotive vehicle products and parts
- Leadership experience in a parts environment is ideal, but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial acumen and marketing skills
- Strong computer aptitude, and an ability to learn and use new systems
- Possession of a driver’s license is essential
