The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Privacy Program Delivery Manager to lead a focused six-month privacy uplift program across SMCT. Reporting to the Head of Safety and Governance, this project-based role will be responsible for developing the collateral, frameworks, processes and tools required to strengthen privacy practices across the organisation and establish a sustainable privacy management framework.
Working closely with stakeholders across Governance, Information Management, Technology and operational teams, you will identify opportunities to improve the way private and sensitive information is managed, build organisational capability, and support SMCT's readiness for emerging privacy risks, including the increasing use of artificial intelligence. This role will suit a self-driven, proactive professional who enjoys delivering meaningful change and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Your Profile:
- Lead the delivery of a six-month privacy uplift program focused on high-risk and high-value privacy initiatives
- Review existing privacy policies, procedures and practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop practical privacy tools, guidance materials, training collateral and supporting resources
- Design and implement Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) processes, templates and training programs
- Partner with business leaders, governance specialists, IT and information management teams to embed improved privacy practices
- Assess privacy risks associated with technology solutions, digital systems and emerging AI capabilities
- Deliver training, advice and change support to increase privacy awareness and capability across the organisation
- Prepare progress reports, recommendations and implementation plans to support ongoing privacy management
Your Profile – we are looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience delivering privacy, governance, compliance or risk-related projects
- Strong understanding of privacy obligations and best practice management of sensitive information
- Self-driven, proactive and able to independently manage competing priorities and project deliverables
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all organisational levels
- Experience facilitating workshops, developing processes and delivering training programs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps and implement practical, risk-based solutions
- Knowledge of information governance, technology risk, digital environments and emerging AI considerations
- Strong written communication skills with experience preparing policies, guidance materials, reports and recommendations
