At Ventia, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to transform how we support our customers, communities and workforce, we are seeking an exceptional Program Lead – Employee Experience to lead an enterprise-wide journey to create a truly differentiated employee experience.
This is a rare opportunity to build and deliver an employee experience strategy at scale, translating insights, data and employee voice into meaningful action that improves advocacy, strengthens culture and drives better business outcomes.
Reporting to our General Manager Leadership Talent & Capability, you will lead Ventia’s enterprise employee experience program with the ambition of achieving first class global employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) outcomes across our employees and subcontractor workforce.
This is not simply an engagement role. It is a strategic transformation opportunity where you will partner with senior leaders across the business to connect employee experience with operational performance, customer outcomes, retention and growth.
Hybrid role, flexible office location. Melbourne and Sydney preferred but other bases considered for the right individual.
Key responsibilities
In this role you will lead the development and execution of Ventia’s enterprise employee experience roadmap, ensuring we focus on the critical priorities that create the greatest impact.

You will work closely with executives and leaders across the organisation to understand what matters most to our people, identify opportunities for improvement and embed experience-led thinking into the way we operate.

Lead Ventia’s enterprise employee experience strategy and roadmap, aligned to our ambition of achieving first class global eNPS performance.

Design and implement an Employee Experience Framework that connects employee and subcontractor experience with business strategy and operational delivery.

Translate employee insights, survey data and listening activities into clear priorities, practical actions and measurable outcomes.

Own the strategy, insights and action translation from Ventia’s Have Your Say (HYS) employee survey program.

Establish strong governance, measurement frameworks and accountability mechanisms to ensure experience initiatives deliver sustainable impact.

Partner with ELT and senior leaders to embed employee experience into leadership practices, operational routines and decision-making.

Identify and prioritise initiatives that improve advocacy while supporting business outcomes including customer performance, retention and growth.

Drive closed-loop feedback processes, ensuring employees understand how their feedback is shaping change.

Use external benchmarking and maturity insights to continuously evolve Ventia’s employee experience approach.
About you

Proven experience leading enterprise-wide transformation, employee experience or strategic change programs.

Experience partnering with executives and senior leaders to shape and deliver enterprise priorities.

Understanding of employee experience frameworks, eNPS, listening strategies and insight-led decision making.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and insights into clear priorities and practical actions.

Experience operating in large, complex or operational environments where embedding change into frontline teams is critical.

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect employee experience outcomes to customer performance, retention and growth.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and align leaders at all levels.

A track record of delivering outcomes through influence, governance and disciplined execution.
