About the Health Centre
Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16 bed low dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
What you’ll do

Keep the clinic running smoothly with fast, accurate clerical support

Manage health records and data in line with Defence policies whilst maintaining privacy

Coordinate appointments and liaise with internal/external health service
What you bring

Minimum of 1 year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in an administrative role.

Completion of a medical terminology course from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or willingness to complete

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Sound computer literacy and experience with electronic health record systems highly regarded.
