In this important role on the client's Core Modernization Transition team, you will drive infrastructure upgrades, network automation, security patching, and seamless operational handoffs for high-priority banking systems. Execute high-priority network upgrades, security patching, and maintenance across enterprise platforms.

Provision, harden, and tune network systems infrastructure to guarantee maximum availability and performance.

Provide 2nd-line technical support for network incidents, security responses, and system troubleshooting.

Drive network automation and modern deployment practices utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

Analyze network traffic datasets to deliver proactive recommendations for performance and security enhancements.

Conduct thorough acceptance testing and commissioning for incoming communications equipment and software.

Create precise support documentation, operational procedures, and technical policy guidelines.

Extensive hands-on background managing Cisco LAN/WAN enterprise network environments including patching and upgrades.

Proven expertise with Cisco infrastructure and Cisco Firewalls.

Solid grounding in IT Service Management frameworks and enterprise operational practices.

Demonstrated experience utilizing Terraform and Python scripting to automate network tasks preferred.

Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to present complex technical concepts to key stakeholders.

6 months contract with a Banking client.

Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office in Sydney CBD and Norwest (working a Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday day-shift structure).
