As the Senior Manager- Enterprise Compliance you will partner with the Member, Administration and Technology, People and Risk related business units to implement the risk and compliance management strategy.

This is a 12-month maximum term contract position.
The opportunity
- Assist the Head of Enterprise Risk and Compliance to implement, manage and continually enhance the Hostplus Compliance Framework (including compliance policies and procedures) and to drive the compliance strategy across business units in a consistent manner.
- Ensure the compliance obligations system is managed in line with the compliance management framework.
- Manage the end-to-end breach assessment and reporting process across the Fund.
- Lead the Compliance relationship with key material supplier, Administrator, MUFG. This includes working with MUFG to ensure adequate compliance reporting and regular engagement meetings.
- Promote a positive risk culture within business contributing to training, education and compliance awareness.
- Support business units by providing advice and support that will assist the business to comply with its legal, regulatory, license and statutory obligations.
- Provide team leadership support to the Head of Enterprise Risk and Compliance, including coordinating team meetings, team capacity planning and monitoring / management of inboxes, as required.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of the Compliance GRC module in Archer, including improving functionality and reporting capability to drive data insights.
- Lead, develop and engage the Compliance team, ensuring that engagement, development and performance plans are in place and actioned.
- Maintain the Compliance Policy suit ensuring updates are completed on time, as required.
- Support the preparation of reports for Board, Audit and Risk & Compliance Committee.
- Oversee the implementation of legislative and regulatory change across the business.
About you
- 8 years minimum experience in compliance or audit management within the financial services industry gained primarily from superannuation funds or financial services.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce or law (Desirable).
- RG 146 compliant (Desirable or willingness to obtain within first six months).
