Make an impact at Serco
As a Capacity Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring Defence medical and dental equipment is maintained efficiently to support healthcare capability across the Australian Defence Force. Working closely with the Capacity Manager, Biomedical Technology Lead and Defence stakeholders, you'll optimise workforce planning, scheduling, inventory and operational workflows to maximise productivity and minimise maintenance turnaround times.
As a Capacity Planner, you'll make a positive impact by:

Develop workforce plans and schedules that optimise technician capability and operational capacity

Coordinate work allocations, priorities and resource utilisation to meet contractual service levels

Monitor equipment maintenance workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency

Analyse capacity, inventory and performance data to provide operational insights and recommendations
-
Collaborate with Defence stakeholders, technical experts and logistics partners to support service delivery

Maintain accurate planning, scheduling and inventory information within Defence SAP ERP systems

Certifications in Finance, Supply Chain, Business or Procurement is highly regarded

Experience in workforce planning, operational planning or scheduling within a complex environment

Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability

Experience using SAP ERP or asset management systems

Knowledge of inventory management and capacity planning principles

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into practical operational insights
