Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Application Deployment Engineer responsible for application deployments, production support, CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure automation, and environment management across development, testing, pre-production, and production landscapes. The role requires strong Linux administration, cloud, containerization, and automation expertise, along with excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Application Deployment & Release Management
- Deploy applications across Development, FT, NFT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
- Manage both manual and automated deployment processes.
- Prepare and maintain installation guides, release notes, and application migration documentation.
- Coordinate in-country deployments for Pre-Production and Production environments.
- Support release planning, execution, and post-deployment validation activities.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps (AzDO).
- Manage source code repositories using Git and Subversion (SVN).
- Automate deployment and infrastructure processes using Ansible and Terraform.
- Support build management activities and maintain build/release documentation.
Containerization & Platform Administration
- Manage containerized microservices environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with Rancher, Helm Charts, and Harbor for container orchestration and image management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot containerized applications and services.
Production Support & Incident Management
- Provide L2/L3 application production support.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot system, application, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
- Monitor application logs and system performance using ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Handle incident, problem, and change management activities through Jira and ServiceNow.
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and CentOS environments.
- Support cloud-based deployments across AWS and Azure platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices through Ansible and Terraform.
Middleware & Database Support
- Support middleware technologies including Apache, Tomcat, IBM MQ, and Apache Kafka.
- Work with Oracle 10g and MongoDB databases.
- Utilize tools such as SQL Developer, MongoDB Compass, and JXplorer for administration and troubleshooting.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements across development and production environments.
- Conduct technical discussions and troubleshooting calls with clients and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Mentor and guide new team members through knowledge-sharing and shadowing programs.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
