Mirvac has created some of Australia's most iconic places, from thriving residential communities, to landmark offices and mixed-use precincts. At the heart of every project: a deep commitment to our customers, and an ambition to reimagine urban life.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an Integration Engineer to join our Digital team and play a key role in designing, supporting and modernising enterprise integration solutions across a complex technology landscape.
In this hands-on role, you will design, develop and support integration solutions while helping drive Mirvac's integration platform evolution. Our current integration landscape is heavily AWS-based, and over the coming years we will be transitioning to a Hybrid Integration Platform leveraging both AWS-native services and Workato. As such, you'll play a key role in supporting existing AWS-hosted integrations while contributing to future migration and modernisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy and support enterprise integration solutions.
-
Build and maintain integrations using iPaaS platforms and custom development frameworks.
-
Support production services running on integration and AWS-hosted platforms.
-
Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues and integration failures.
-
Contribute to platform modernisation and migration initiatives.
-
Develop and support REST APIs, event-driven integrations and microservices-based solutions.
-
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices.
-
Participate in solution design, technical reviews and code reviews.
About You
You are an experienced Integration Engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for building modern, cloud-based integration solutions.
You'll have:
- 7+ years' experience in enterprise integration design, development and support.
-
Strong experience working with AWS-based integration solutions. As our current integration environment is predominantly AWS-native and our future-state architecture will combine AWS and Workato, candidates must be comfortable developing, supporting and troubleshooting integrations deployed within AWS environments.
-
Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, Kumologica, IBM ACE or similar.
-
Strong understanding of integration patterns including APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, batch processing and microservices.
-
Experience developing with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs and GitHub.
-
Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Cognito, IAM, CloudWatch and related cloud-native integration services.
-
Strong experience working within CI/CD environments, including GitHub Actions, automated deployment pipelines and release management.
-
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
Highly Regarded
- Experience in the following areas will be highly valued:
-
Workato development and custom connector creation.
-
Kumologica development and support.
-
Integration platform migration and modernisation programs.
-
Supporting and migrating AWS-based integration platforms.
-
AI-assisted engineering and specification-driven development practices.
