Position: Appian Developer

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Appian Developer with 6–8 years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Appian development and BPM solutions. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working on projects within the BFSI domain, including Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting scalable business process applications using the Appian platform. The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technology stakeholders to deliver secure and efficient enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain business process applications using the Appian platform.
- Develop Appian interfaces, process models, records, rules, reports, and workflows.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Appian solutions.
- Develop reusable and maintainable application components following Appian best practices.
- Design and implement integrations between Appian and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Work with databases and perform data integration using SQL and relational databases.
- Configure and manage Appian objects, security, groups, roles, and application access.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support when required.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing, UAT, and production deployments.
- Analyze performance issues and optimize Appian applications and process models.
- Follow enterprise development standards, security guidelines, and Appian best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of business processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of total professional IT experience with strong hands-on Appian development experience.
- Mandatory experience working in the BFSI domain – Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Appian BPM/Low-Code platform.
- Experience developing Appian SAIL interfaces, process models, expression rules, decision rules, interfaces, records, and reports.
- Strong understanding of Appian objects and application architecture.
- Experience with Appian integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Appian security, groups, roles, and access management.
- Experience with Appian deployment and application lifecycle management.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Appian Certified Developer certification is preferred.
- Experience working on enterprise-grade Appian implementations.
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, and automated deployment processes.
- Experience integrating Appian with banking, financial, insurance, or third-party enterprise systems.
- Understanding of BFSI processes such as payments, lending, loans, claims, policy administration, KYC, AML, customer onboarding, or financial operations is an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Appian Developer with strong BPM and low-code development experience who can independently build and support enterprise applications. The candidate must have proven experience delivering solutions in a BFSI environment and should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery model.
Pay: $700.00 – $750.00 per day
