Group Enablement
Our Group Enablement Teams are the Technology, Business Enablement, Value Chain and Replenishment experts developing new capabilities and platforms for a better retail future. We’re the crucial link between our stores and the stock they need, the IT engine moving our business forward, the strategic connectors streamlining the way we work, and the forward thinkers using tech to transform the retail experience. Uniting cutting edge technology, data and retail smarts, you’ll work behind the scenes, in the margins and across every corner of the business – to uplift our capability, amplify our collective impacts and revolutionise the customer experience.
What you’ll do
As a Sales Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that store sales forecasts accurately predict the purchasing behaviours of customers. You will proactively manage sales forecasts to ensure that all future events and seasonality impacts are accounted for, making certain that forecasting methodologies are expertly applied. The Sales Planning Analyst plays a key part in influencing sales and operational outcomes for Australia.
- Accurately maintain weekly/daily forecasts on products at a store level, across multiple divisions, using forecasting methodologies

Using available data, provide actionable insights within the forecasting systems, for major events, promotions, and seasonality

Support stores and customers, by investigating the unavailability of stock at the store level

Provide detailed and clear insights to assist queries from various stakeholders within the business

What you’ll bring
-
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with and manage a wide variety of stakeholders

Experience working with various software systems such as SAP & JDA products along with technical systems skills (e.g. SQL coding language, or other coding languages, experience working with algorithms) or capability to learn some of these

Have a strong understanding of customer behaviour & Retail, Supply chain, or FMCG or has a very keen interest or aptitude to learn
