We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Manager, Corporate Strategy, reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Strategy. This role offers the opportunity to influence nbn’s enterprise strategy, bringing together insight, strategic thinking, and collaboration to shape key decisions and drive meaningful impact across the organisation.
A bit about your role
As Executive Manager, Corporate Strategy, you will support the development of nbn’s enterprise strategic roadmap by bringing together structured analysis, clear thinking and compelling narratives. Working closely with the General Manager, you will translate complex challenges into actionable strategy, contributing confidently to enterprise‑wide discussions and decisions. You will lead high‑quality strategic analysis across market, customer, financial and operational dimensions, developing insight‑led perspectives that challenge assumptions and guide informed trade‑offs.
In partnership with business units and enabling functions, you will translate strategy into clear inputs for planning and delivery, ensuring alignment of intent, assumptions and success measures. You will prepare concise, impactful materials for Executive and Board forums, helping maintain strategic clarity as plans move into execution, while building trusted relationships that enhance outcomes and influence.
A bit about you
You bring extensive experience in management consulting or a similar in-house strategy environment, with a proven track record in strategic and commercial thinking, rigorous analysis, complex problem solving and influencing senior stakeholders.
You are thoughtful, collaborative, and insight-driven, with a natural ability to bring structure to complexity and connect ideas to purpose. You build trusted, respectful relationships with ease, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and contribute balanced, well-considered perspectives that support clear and informed decision-making. You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, IT or a related discipline, which is essential, and a postgraduate qualification such as an MBA is highly regarded.
