Electronics Department Coordinator

JPJ Audio is seeking an organised and technically minded ElectronicsDepartment Coordinator to join our Electronics Department.
This role is responsible for coordinating the preparation,assembly and deployment of the electronic systems that support major concerts,festivals, theatre productions and corporate events across Australia.
Working alongside our Electronics Supervisor, you'llcoordinate the assembly of complete touring systems, ensuring every rack isaccurately configured, tested and ready for deployment.
About the Role
Based at our Homebush West facility, you'll be responsiblefor coordinating the preparation of electronic equipment for hire and touring,including:
- Coordinating the assembly and preparation of RF systems, monitor systems and electronics racks
- Building complete touring racks incorporating wireless systems, IEMs, network equipment, outboard processing and system electronics
- Configuring equipment to suit individual productions and client requirements
- Testing and commissioning systems before dispatch
- Maintaining documentation, rack layouts and equipment records
- Coordinating equipment allocation with other departments
- Assisting with workshop improvements and system standardisation
- Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the Electronics Department
- Supporting equipment servicing and quality control as required
About You
You'll have a passion for professional audio and enjoybuilding complex systems that perform flawlessly in the field.
Ideally you'll have:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with professional audio equipment
- An understanding of RF microphone and IEM systems
- Knowledge of analogue and digital audio signal flow
- Experience with networking for professional audio (Dante and similar) is advantageous
- The ability to read wiring diagrams and equipment layouts
- A methodical approach to testing and fault finding
- Pride in producing neat, reliable and tour-ready systems
Previous experience with touring audio systems, rentalproduction, broadcast or live events will be highly regarded.
