The Front Office Support team is a dedicated global business team working with Clients, SSC IT, client service, and the business operations teams to ensure accurate end-to-end oversight of Information Delivery to our clients.
As part of the Front Office Support team, you'll help ensure the Investment Book of Records (IBOR) is accurately maintained and that client portfolios are correctly reflected across State Street platforms. You'll work predominantly with the Front Office, acting as a key liaison between Portfolio Managers and internal SSC teams to identify and resolve issues quickly.
The role will need to initiate and develop good communication and interpersonal relationship with Front Office/Portfolio Managers’ teams and to maintain the high level of service that is currently being provided to all the clients. As a Senior Associate, the role will also oversee the functionality of our underlying global teams as a subject matter expert

What you will be responsible for
- Liaise directly with the Front Office and support Portfolio Managers on all queries
- Coordinate with internal and external parties (brokers, custodians, SSC teams)
- Oversee the timeliness, accuracy and functionality of our underlying support teams, and work towards resolution from a subject matter expert point of view.
- Review control reports (reconciliations, material breaks, etc.) to maintain portfolio health
- Complete the month-end cycle, including full portfolio reconciliations, performance calculations, and client reporting
- Managing relationships with all interested parties
- Coordinate, handle and resolve issues involving all operational and various IT areas (e.g. Asset servicing, Trade Operations, Client Reporting)
- Work independently to research and resolve problems considering multiple avenues for resolution.
- Communicate effectively on issues / problems and ensure resolution.
- Provide guidance, support, act as a resource and assist team members from multiple operational areas
What we value
- Strong understanding of financial services
- Strong understanding of financial products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel), and working knowledge of SQL
- You will have a proven track record of meeting service level expectations
- High attention to detail and accuracy

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred industry experience of 3+ years with Minimum 12 months of Portfolio Administration/IBOR experience from either an Investment Manager or Global Custodian
- Knowledge of investment accounting and NAV calculation across various asset classes
- Interest in completing/enrolling in the CFA Program
