What you’ll do
As an IT Program Manager for the Domain Enablement Group, you will lead the planning and execution of programs and projects that deliver new technologies, including business processes, systems, and infrastructure. You will:
Drive End-to-End Delivery: Manage initiatives from original concept through to final implementation, working closely with domains to coordinate development, integration, and testing
Manage Program Scope & Budget: Oversee projects within the program to time, budget, and quality constraints. You'll maintain the capital/expense plan and manage actuals/forecasts against the budget.
Strategic Oversight & Risk Management: Regularly review program performance against strategic plans, identifying and managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build strong, collaborative partnerships with senior executives, manage expectations across business and IT domains, and establish clear communication frameworks.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of 3-5 direct reports (including Project Managers, Coordinators, and Business Analysts), influencing upwards and outwards while growing capabilities within your team.
Promote Innovation: Identify and promote opportunities to solve business needs with process improvements and IT solutions.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong blend of program management expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management skills:
Extensive Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in program management, with a track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects.
Delivery & Methodology Expertise: Proven skills in delivery methodologies, planning, scheduling, risk/issue management, and project controls.
Relationship Building: The ability to effectively engage and navigate conflicting stakeholder requirements, as well as strong vendor engagement experience (both software and professional services).
Commercial Acumen: Experience in cost centre management within an IT context.
Global Team Leadership: Demonstrated capability working with and managing both onshore and offshore teams..
