At The Ark Vet, we specialize in small animals and are the leading provider of care for exotics and wildlife in the Darwin region. We also lead Dog Health Programs in Aboriginal communities, making a real difference in both animal and community health.

Wildlife and Exotic Medicine:
Be part of the only NT clinic with dedicated wildlife treatment facilities, operated by our non-profit organization ArkAid Inc. Treat a variety of species, from wallabies and eagles to snakes, lorikeets, bats, and sea turtles. With over 2,000 cases per year, you’ll expand your skills while collaborating with Wildlife Australia.
Exotic Pet Expertise:
Whether you’re experienced or eager to learn, The Ark is NT’s top hospital for exotic and unusual pets. Work alongside a skilled team, including certified snake handlers.
Make a Difference:
Participate in meaningful bush trips with AMRRIC, delivering essential veterinary care to Indigenous communities.

State-of-the-Art Facilities:
Work in our purpose-built, fully equipped hospital featuring advanced tools like Customer Logic software, Idexx Vet Test, Lasercyte, Vetlyte, Surgivet, pulse oximeter, ultrasound, and digital x-ray equipment.

What We’re Looking For:
Our ideal candidate is a veterinarian who:

Has strong knowledge of veterinary operations and a passion for ongoing learning.

Has an interest in wildlife or exotics (optional, with training available).
