About the role
As the E2E Business and System Support Officer, you will support the Application Support Specialist in maintaining the systems and processes that enable Evoenergy to meet its obligations within the National Electricity Market (NEM). Working across network metering, billing and customer information systems, you will contribute to the ongoing compliance, efficiency and effectiveness of critical business operations.
The role offers a diverse mix of responsibilities, including system support, testing, billing and invoicing processes, regulatory administration, data analysis and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors and industry participants to ensure Evoenergy continues to deliver reliable services while maintaining compliance with national market and regulatory requirements.
What you will be doing

Support the administration and ongoing management of market processes, metering, billing and invoicing activities within the National Electricity Market (NEM).
- Assist with maintaining and enhancing the Gentrack Velocity platform and other business-critical systems, including support for system updates, defect resolution and regulatory changes.
- Undertake system testing activities, including developing test cases and validating system enhancements and fixes.
- Manage and investigate Network Use of System (NUoS) invoicing processes, billing validations and adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support market settlement, remittance processing, dispute resolution and other financial processes associated with national market operations.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant industry regulations, procedures and legislative obligations, including AEMO requirements and the National Energy Customer Framework.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and external market participants to support business outcomes.
What you will bring
-
Experience working in a utility, energy, billing, customer information systems or similarly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of the National Electricity Market (NEM), National Energy Customer Framework (NECF), or demonstrated experience working within complex regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Experience using customer information, billing or enterprise systems, with exposure to Gentrack Velocity, SAP or similar platforms highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, interpret data and identify practical solutions.
- Experience with system testing, defect management, process improvement and data reconciliation activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant qualifications in business, information systems, finance, technology or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
