Job Description
As the Connections Planner, you will lead the strategic development of communication ecosystems that deliver CX and MX impact to deliver Long Experiences.
Your role is more project-specialist in nature - focused on solving social and connections problems with smart, strategic solutions that drive effectiveness and relevance.
You act as a champion for changing the shape of the work - elevating thinking, pushing brands into new contexts, and helping them connect with new audiences.
You will bridge strategy and creative to ensure ideas are supported by strong channel strategies, orchestrating creative, media, digital, social and experiential touchpoints to maximize effectiveness. Your role will be pivotal in creating meaningful brand experiences and keeping brands culturally relevant and connected to their audiences through key touch-points.
You will design integrated campaigns that strategically combine paid/ owned/ earned channels to amplify messaging, by transforming consumer data and translating insights into inspiring and actionable creative briefs.
You will be responsible for establishing measurement frameworks linking campaign KPIs to business objectives.

You’re constantly seeking ways to build out meaningful brand experiences across NB and existing clients for BMF and Bantam.

You tailor your strategic approach depending on the client’s ambition, whether solving tactical problems or reshaping brand narratives, building customer journeys that align with brand and business objectives, ensuring they contribute to long experiences that deepen relationships.

Stay ahead of emerging media, technology, and cultural trends, ensuring our work remains innovative, effective, and built for longevity by proactively identifying opportunities for BMF to lead thinking in emerging areas of social (i.e. social search), content, and connections strategy.

You’ll take-on responsibility as the planning AI rep, supporting the AI Planning Lead

You are trusted with your client’s data, so that you can measure the success of their campaigns in real-time.

Develop holistic communications strategies that integrate owned, earned, shared, and paid media, ensuring they support the Long Idea.

You bond easily with creative directors, and encourage them to develop their best work.

Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and media agency partners to ensure work is insight-driven, channel-optimised, and designed for longevity.

You are a thought leader within BMF, helping define the agency’s strategic POV and mentoring others to think beyond the brief

You share your thinking and best practices easily with different spokes of the agency organisation, including account management, creative and production

You’ll develop a strong grasp of data, measurement, and effectiveness methodologies with an emphasis on sustained brand growth.

Work across multiple clients and categories, tailoring comms strategies to different industries and target audiences with a view to lasting brand engagement.
Qualifications

10+ Years experaince
-
Expertise in consumer journey mapping and touchpoint identification

In depth knowledge of traditional and digital marketing channels

Understanding of data driven creative processes

Proficient in performance measurement and optimisation techniques

Familiarity with emerging marketing technologies and platforms
-
Inherent desire to push creativity.
