Following a significant multi-million-dollar transformation, we're preparing to relaunch one of Sydney's most iconic lifestyle hotels, creating a destination that will redefine luxury hospitality, dining and guest experiences.
We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant Manager with a background in luxury hotels who is ready to help lead this exciting journey alongside our Area General Manager. This is more than an operational leadership role. It's an opportunity to be instrumental in the pre-opening, relaunch and long-term success of one of Australia's most exciting lifestyle hotels.

Your Opportunity
Working alongside the Area General Manager, you'll help shape every aspect of the guest journey while ensuring operational excellence across the hotel.
You'll be heavily involved in preparing the hotel for launch, embedding exceptional service standards, developing our teams and ensuring every operational touchpoint is ready to welcome guests.
This role offers genuine career progression and would suit an experienced Operations Manager, Hotel Manager or Executive Assistant Manager ready to take the next step towards becoming a General Manager.

Working alongside the Area General Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing Ovolo Sydney back to life.
You will support:

Operational readiness across every department.

Recruitment, onboarding and team development.

New service standards and guest journey implementation.

Hotel opening preparations and launch activities.

Embedding Ovolo's unique culture throughout the hotel.
Operational Excellence
You will oversee daily hotel operations across:

You will ensure every department works together seamlessly to deliver a luxury guest experience.
Commercial Leadership

You will;

Drive Rooms and F&B performance.

Improve profitability without compromising service.

Analyse guest feedback and commercial performance.

Identify opportunities to improve revenue and operational efficiency.

About You
You're an experienced luxury hotel leader who thrives in high-energy environments and loves being visible throughout the hotel.
You lead from the front, remain calm under pressure and understand that luxury is found in the smallest details.
You will bring:

Luxury hotel leadership experience (essential).

Experience as an Executive Assistant Manager, Hotel Manager or senior Operations Manager.

Strong Rooms Division experience with exposure to Food & Beverage operations.

Experience supporting hotel openings, refurbishments or major transformations (highly regarded).

Commercial acumen across Rooms, Food & Beverage and profitability.

A passion for coaching and developing high-performing teams.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

A hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for guest experience.
