The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, increasing site penetration, and building long-term strategic relationships within assigned portfolios. The role focuses on identifying strengthening partnerships with building managers and key stakeholders and delivering exceptional customer outcomes to support revenue growth and overall business performance. The BDM acts as a key representative of the business in the field, proactively managing relationships, driving engagement, and contributing to the continued expansion of the company’s presence within the market reporting Lines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with Building Managers, Strata Managers, real estate agencies, and key stakeholders within assigned portfolios.
Drive sales growth and increase site penetration across existing and new buildings within the designated territory.
Identify and secure new business opportunities to support revenue growth and market expansion.
Conduct regular onsite visits to build stakeholder engagement, strengthen partnerships, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Perform kiosk activity and onsite resident engagement initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and service uptake within buildings.
Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of opportunities and performance.
Work collaboratively with internal departments including Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, and Leadership teams to deliver strong customer outcomes.
Prepare and present business proposals, performance updates, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
Ensure all activity is accurately recorded within CRM systems and reporting platforms.
Deliver against individual and team KPIs, sales targets, and business objectives.
Proactively resolve stakeholder concerns and provide solution-focused outcomes that support long-term relationship management.
Always represent the business professionally and act as a brand ambassador within the market.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in Business Development, Account Management, Field Sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
Experience within telecommunications, real estate, property management, strata, or related industries is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Building Managers, Strata Managers, developers, and real estate agencies.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and increasing customer acquisition.
Strong understanding of sales pipelines, portfolio management, and business development strategies.
Experience conducting onsite meetings, resident engagement activities, and kiosk activations to generate leads and drive conversions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver strategic outcomes.
Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
