Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and customer-focused professional to join our respected team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in office administration, medical reception or front-facing customer service who enjoys supporting both patients and clinicians in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support while delivering exceptional customer service in line with Ramsay Health Care's Core Values. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department and creating a positive experience for our patients, visitors and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the department. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for patients, visitors, clinicians and other stakeholders.

Managing patient admissions, discharges and appointments in accordance with hospital procedures.

Answering and directing telephone enquiries promptly and professionally.

Performing a range of administrative duties, including data entry, filing, document management and maintaining accurate patient records.

Coordinating and processing referrals, correspondence and other clinical documentation as required.

Liaising effectively with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to support the smooth delivery of patient care.

Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in accordance with privacy legislation and Ramsay Health Care policies.

Ensuring a high standard of customer service by responding to enquiries in a courteous, efficient and compassionate manner.

Assisting with general office duties and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive team culture and achieve departmental objectives.

Adhering to Ramsay Health Care's Core Values, policies and procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a well-presented, proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have a strong administrative background, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Previous medical administration or healthcare reception experience (desirable).

Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
