In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering Technology products and services across Transport for NSW, you will help shape our digital platforms and broader technology architecture. In this role, you will provide domain technical leadership and architectural governance to ensure our digital systems are innovative, highly responsive, and fit-for-purpose, seamlessly delivering on business needs and program outcomes.
You will lead the design and delivery of robust, cloud-native architectural solutions for our portfolio. A key focus of your role will be designing modern digital application architecture and applying Domain-Driven Design principles. You will drive complex frontend design and integration approaches across the enterprise, leveraging a deep understanding of business processes to conduct rigorous trade-off analyses that balance technical excellence with operational realities and timelines.

About you
To be successful, your strong technical expertise and sophisticated stakeholder engagement skills, forged within enterprise-scale or highly regulated environments, will see you excel in translating complex business requirements into robust digital solutions. You will adeptly address business pain points and ensure your designs consistently deliver tangible business value, scalability, and compliance with organisational standards.
You are recognised as a digital architecture authority with a strong foundation in full-stack software engineering (e.g., ReactJS, Node, and/or Java/C#). You possess deep working knowledge of designing cloud infrastructure and leveraging cloud-native services across both AWS and Azure environments. Furthermore, proven experience in the design of GenAI agentic solutions and the integration of enterprise AI platforms, such as Microsoft Foundry, is highly regarded. Experience with the solution design of mainstream low-code platforms, including the Microsoft Power Platform, Pega, Salesforce, or ServiceNow, is also highly desirable.
