About the Opportunity
We are seeking an organised and proactive Workshop Coordinator / Planner to join our Wetherill Park team.
In this role, you will be the engine room of the workshop, estimating jobs, coordinating workflow from quote to completion, and keeping every job on track so our customers get the right work done on time.
You will be the workshop's key point of contact with sales, customers, suppliers, and contractors, so no two days will look the same.

Your tasks will include:
- Preparing accurate estimates and quotes based on scopes of work and direct customer requests.
- Booking in jobs and completing Job Cards within 24 hours of receiving the job PO
- Preparing Bills of Materials in consultation with workshop staff, with pricing and availability confirmed
- Building comprehensive Job Packs, including Job Cards, BOMs and Work Instructions, ready for the planned start of work
- Keeping the WIP file up to date and providing clear, well informed job updates during Work in Progress meetings.
- Liaising with sales and customers, keeping them informed on job status and giving early notice of any delays.
- Working with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing and on time delivery of components.
- Coordinating administrative tasks at the completion of each job, so Job Packs reach the Administrator ready for costing and invoicing.
About You
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise across sales, customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple jobs at different stages at once.
- A high level of initiative and strong attention to detail.
- General engineering knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications are preferred.
- Experience estimating, scheduling, or coordinating jobs in a workshop, trade, or industrial environment are preferred.
