Bupa is seeking Expressions of Interest from Registered Nurses who are interested in exploring potential future opportunities within our Health Coaching team.
While we are not actively recruiting for immediate vacancies, we anticipate that opportunities may become available later in the year. By submitting your Expression of Interest, you'll join our talent community and be considered should suitable positions arise.
This is an excellent opportunity to connect with Bupa and learn more about a rewarding career supporting members to improve their health and wellbeing through personalised coaching and education.
As a Health Coach, you would work with customers enrolled in Bupa's health and wellbeing programs, providing personalised coaching, education and support over the phone. Using your clinical expertise and evidence-based behavioural coaching techniques, you would empower customers to make sustainable lifestyle changes and become more active participants in managing their own health.
Health Coaches support customers through programs including:
- Chronic Disease Management programs designed to educate, empower and support members living with ongoing health conditions.
- Recovery Support programs that provide pre-admission and post-discharge support to help customers recover safely and reduce avoidable hospital readmissions.
- Health and wellbeing coaching focused on achieving meaningful and sustainable health outcomes.
This is a purposeful role where you can build genuine connections with customers and contribute to improving health outcomes while helping people stay well and out of hospital.
We are interested in connecting with Registered Nurses who have:
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration with AHPRA.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to build rapport and engage with customers over the phone.
- Sound computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A passion for supporting people to achieve better health outcomes.
- A positive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
- Experience in acute, community, chronic disease management, rehabilitation or health coaching environments.
- Previous telephone-based clinical support or coaching experience.
- Experience supporting behaviour change and self-management of health conditions.
Should opportunities become available, successful candidates may enjoy benefits such as:
- Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
- No shift work, evenings or weekends.
- Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing development.
- Supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Opportunities to make a meaningful difference in customers' lives.
- Subsidised health insurance and other employee benefits.
By registering your interest, you'll:
- Be considered for future Health Coach opportunities as they arise.
- Stay connected with Bupa and our growing Health Services team.
- Gain early visibility of potential opportunities that align with your skills and experience.
