We're looking for a Club Lounge Attendant who is passionate about creating personalised, luxury experiences for our most valued guests. With genuine warmth, thoughtful attention to detail, and an instinct for anticipating needs before they're expressed, you'll make every guest feel recognised, welcomed, and completely at home.
Accessed exclusively by our club guests, our lounge provides an intimate and elevated space, and luxury food & beverage offering. The lounge team works closely with our Front Office department to ensure our guests have a memorable stay each and every time.
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Deliver elevated luxury experiences and guests receive an exclusive personalised experience
Providing a premium Food & Beverage service in line with InterContinental brand standards; from our breakfast offering, afternoon tea to evening drinks and canape service.
Acknowledging our VIP's, IHG One Rewards members InterContinental Ambassadors and returning guests.
Anticipating guest needs and providing tailored recommendations, from our Club Lounge food and beverage offering to local restaurants, attractions, and experiences
Acting as our guests' dedicated point of contact, resolving enquiries and fulfilling requests with efficiency, care, and personalised attention
Be an InterContinental Insider always knowing what events and activities are on the days schedule across the city.
What We need from you:
Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
Process the ability to work under pressure; thinking quickly on your feet and solving problems promptly.
Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
Fluency in English – extra language skills would be great, but not essential.
Flexibility– night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
Current and Valid RSA Certificate
Food Safety Certification
Be an Australian permanent resident or hold a valid Australian work visa with at least 6 months remaining at the time of application.
