We are currently seeking multiple experienced Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers to join a large-scale enterprise ICT environment supporting critical infrastructure platforms and services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior infrastructure professional with extensive experience across enterprise storage platforms, Storage Area Networks (SAN), backup and recovery technologies, and infrastructure operations. You’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, administering, optimising, and supporting enterprise storage solutions that underpin highly available, secure, and resilient ICT services.
Working within a collaborative infrastructure team, you will contribute to both operational excellence and future infrastructure strategy while supporting modern enterprise storage technologies and large-scale ICT environments.
About the Role
As a Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of enterprise storage platforms across both physical and virtual environments.
You will design, implement, configure, administer, optimise, and troubleshoot enterprise storage solutions while contributing to ongoing infrastructure improvements and future storage platform initiatives. This role also involves developing technical documentation, mentoring junior engineers, supporting infrastructure governance, and participating in operational support activities, including after-hours support where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, administer, and optimise enterprise storage infrastructure
- Manage storage environments across physical and virtual platforms
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Storage Area Network (SAN) switches and storage networking technologies
- Monitor storage capacity, utilisation, performance, and overall platform health
- Perform storage performance tuning and optimisation to ensure maximum availability and efficiency
- Support enterprise backup, restore, and disaster recovery capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and infrastructure issues
- Evaluate emerging storage technologies and contribute to future platform strategy
- Produce technical architecture, design documents, build guides, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer documentation
- Maintain infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and governance documentation
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, server, virtualisation, security, and project teams to deliver enterprise solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous knowledge sharing across the team
- Participate in production support and after-hours operational activities when required

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
- Strong enterprise storage administration, optimisation, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience managing Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Strong understanding of enterprise backup and recovery strategies
- Experience producing high-quality technical documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience mentoring technical teams and supporting knowledge transfer
- Ability to work effectively within complex enterprise ICT environments
