Position Overview
The Content Marketing Manager is the operational engine of the Beauty Vertical content team. This is a team management and workflow role, not a creative one. You won't be expected to produce creative content yourself. Instead, you'll own the systems, people, and processes that ensure great content is briefed, built, and delivered on time and at scale across multiple brands.
You'll act as the link between brand marketing strategy and content delivery, running your brands like accounts in an agency. You'll manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and a team of junior-to-mid-level content marketers who need clear direction, strong briefs, and someone who keeps the work moving.
Roles & Responsibilities
Campaign Content Project Management & Day-to-Day Workflow
Own the end-to-end content workflow across your brand portfolio: briefing, production tracking, review, approvals, and publishing
Manage campaign content project management from brief to delivery — ensuring all stakeholders are aligned, timelines are met, and nothing falls through the gaps
Establish and document team processes and ways of working, empowering the team to operate efficiently and consistently
Manage team workload and capacity across multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously
Act as the primary stakeholder contact for Brand Marketing — managing expectations, resolving blockers, and communicating clearly on timelines
Ensure all content is delivered on time, on brand, and to brief
Oversee creator content delivery: briefs, output review, approvals, and integration with the broader content plan
Annual & Campaign Planning
Key support for annual and campaign planning alongside Director and Brand Marketing team
Maintain content calendars and ensure alignment across campaign, product, and retail timelines
Identify resource and capacity needs ahead of key periods and flag early to the Director
Support localisation requests and market adaptations in collaboration with relevant leaders
Digital & Paid Media Collaboration
Work closely with the Digital/Paid Media team to understand content and campaign performance across paid channels
Ensure assets are adapted and optimised based on media performance insights — applying a continuous improvement approach to content delivery
Act as the content workflow link between the creative team and the paid media team, ensuring briefs, timelines, and specs are clearly communicated
Reporting & Optimisation
Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for the team and brand stakeholders
Continuously identify opportunities to improve content quality, workflow, and team process
Leadership, Mentorship & Growth of the Content Team
Manage, develop, and support a team of Executives, Coordinators, and Interns
Establish processes that empower team members to work efficiently, focus on continuous improvement, and be a valuable resource to the wider beauty team
Workflow management of the team in accordance with wider business priorities
Set clear briefs, priorities, and feedback on a weekly basis
Conduct regular 1:1s and performance conversations
Build a team culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
4–6 years in agency account management or operations-led marketing role.
Social / digital agency experience is highly desirable.
Proven experience managing multiple brand accounts or work streams simultaneously
Strong project management skills. You are organised, calm under pressure, skilled at prioritisation
Solid understanding of paid and organic social media channels and content best practice across Instagram, TikTok, and key platforms
A genuine interest in beauty — you understand the category, the culture, and what great beauty content looks like
Data-literate: comfortable turning performance data into clear recommendations
A clear, confident communicator who briefs well and manages stakeholder expectations proactively
Experience managing and developing junior team members
Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment where self-sufficiency is valued
